We are proud to announce that our team will be sponsoring and participating in the 2020 National Lymphedema Network (NLN) Virtual Conference, taking place October 23-27.
Originally scheduled as a live conference in San Diego, this annual conference is one of our favorites. While the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many in-person conferences and trade shows to change their formats to virtual events, we expect a fantastic turnout from lymphedema therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Our team at AIROS Medical made a tremendous splash in the industry at last year’s NLN conference in Boston. We were able to engage with certified lymphedema therapists, physical therapists, industry experts, and various healthcare providers. At the time, we were in the final stages of securing FDA 510(k) clearances for our Arm Plus garments. These compression therapy garments can be prescribed by lymphedema therapists and physicians for use with patients battling upper extremity lymphedema, usually caused by breast cancer.
This year, after receiving FDA 510(k) clearances for our high-end AIROS 8 Sequential Compression Device and associated 8-chamber garments as well as our Medicare-based AIROS 6 Sequential Compression Device and associated 6-chamber garments, we will be able to present our latest therapy solutions that lymphedema therapists and clinicians can utilize to improve the quality of life for their patients.
Based on our conversations at last year’s conference and the excellent feedback we’ve received from lymphedema therapists so far in 2020, we are particularly thrilled to show NLN attendees our updated AIROS 6 and 6-Chamber Arm Plus garments. We expect tremendous interest in these products because they are vastly increasing the ability for lymphedema therapists to treat their older patients battling lymphedema, especially those who have had breast cancer and who utilize Medicare. This advanced product line is ideal for these patients who are currently severely underserved, and we look forward to discussing in more detail.
We will also be presenting our full line of compression therapy products during virtual exhibit hall hours at the NLN conference, as well as during some sponsored breaks throughout the multiple-day program.
